Clonakilty Blackpudding, sage and onion stuffing

The subtle spices of Clonakilty Blackpudding add a really nice flavour to any stuffing, why not try out this stuffing recipe for Christmas dinner, or have it any day of the year with chicken...

Method:

Fry the onion in butter for 5 mins, then add the apple and cook for a further few minutes.

Cool, then mix with the remaining ingredients and season.

Use the stuffing to stuff the Christmas Turkey or goose or place the whole mixture into a loaf tin and back in the oven for 30-40mins at 180C, slice and serve.

Ingredients:

400g of Clonakilty Blackpudding

2 onions diced

25g butter

140g breadcrumbs

400g of Clonakilty Sausage meat

1 large Bramley apple
