Junior marketing assistant

We are looking for a full time, Junior Marketing Assistant to join our team in Western Road, Clonakilty.

Main duties:

• Assisting in the day to day delivery of the overall Marketing plan
• Supporting the planning, organisation and delivery of events and in-store sampling that showcase the Clonakilty brand in Ireland and the UK
• Generating ideas and writing content for brand websites and monthly newsletters
• Monitoring competitor marketing and new product activity
• Identifying consumer trends and insights

Key skills:

• A passion for marketing and the food industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a good team player
• Good organisation and planning skills
• An ability to think creatively
• Practical experience in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of website CMS and copywriting experience
