Clonakilty Playground Opening
The kids will be thrilled to hear that a new and improved Clonakilty playground is officially opening on June 10th from 2pm-4pm. Come join in on a fun filled day in Clonakilty. A fantastic colorful space where you can have oodles of fun in the fresh air this Summer. There will be music food and entertainment for all the family to enjoy on the day. Our Clonakilty sampling team will be there on Saturday 10th doing what they do best and cooking up samples of Clonakilty Blackpudding, Clonakilty Whitepudding and much-loved Sausages. Be sure to stop by if you are in the locality to check it out.
Clonakilty Agricultural Show
Clonakilty Agricultural show is on Sunday June 11th and is sure to be a great day our for all the family. Lots of food, drink, entertainment and “a little Agriculture thrown into the mix”. No doubt, the best of local produce will be on show on the day. There will be plenty activities for the kids including a Junior tractor Run, Bouncing castles and face painting and…an ALPACA Zone!! The team from Edward Twomey Butchers will be there cooking up some yummy bites.
Clonakilty Street Carnival
The Clonakilty Street Carnival is BACK! This has always been a day to remember. There will be rows of tables in place to create Clonakilty longest dinner party. This is a foodies dream day out. Choose from an array of delicious dishes provided from the top local restaurants. Experience an immersive experience with live music, activities and all things carnival inspired!

Clonakilty Old Time Fair
Take a step back in time on July 1st with Clonakilty Old Time Fair. This is an event that celebrates the heritage of Clonakilty town. Get your Old Time gear on and head back in time to experience traditional crafts, art. music and food. Heritage is at the core of our brand story, we will be sure to be there sampling our tradtional Clonakilty Blackpudding. This is one you don’t want to miss!
Clonakilty Friday Market
Every Friday, Clonakilty Farmers Market is held in Emmett’s Square from 9am- 2pm. This is a pit stop for lunch with many hot food vendors to choose from. It is also a great place to pick up some fresh local produce and browse some of West Corks arts and crafts.
De Barras Folk Club
For the music lovers check out De Barras Summer line up and get some tickets to your favorite gigs.
