Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: Clonakilty Food Company Unlimited Company (company no. 137198) whose registered office is at Western Road, Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland.
  2. The competition is only open to Eligible Entrants. An “Eligible Entrant” is an individual who: (i) is a resident of the Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) or Northern Ireland (“NI”) (ii) is aged 18 years or older at the time of entry (iii) is not an employee of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; and (iv) is not a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether full, half, step or by adoption) of such an employee.
  3. To enter, an Eligible Entrant must, during the period commencing on the 9th May 2022 and ending on the 17th June 2022 (“Entry Period”), make a Qualifying Purchase in a ROI or NI participating store. A “Qualifying Purchase” is the purchase of a “Qualifying Product” with a competition label. The following products are “Qualifying Products”: 
    • Clonakilty Blackpudding 280g
    • Clonakilty Whitepudding 280g
  4. An Eligible Entrant may enter the competition once for every Qualifying Purchase that they make during the Entry Period.
  5. The Promoter has the right to extend the Entry Period.
  6. The Promoter and its associated companies reserve the right at any time to verify the eligibility of Participants.
  7. Entry can only be made via the internet. To submit an entry, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period, visit http://www.clonakiltyfoodco.ie/win (“Competition Website”) and follow the directions there. For each entry, the Eligible Entrant must provide: (a) the batch code on the back of the Qualifying Product; (b) correctly answer the question posted on the “Competition Website” being ‘The town of Clonakilty is based in which county in Ireland?’ and (c) all other details required on the Competition Website, including first and last names, contact number and e-mail address.
  8. This competition includes five prizes, each prize is a €500 voucher for Ireland’s Blue Book (https://www.irelands-blue-book.ie/). Vouchers do not expire.
  9. To redeem the prize, the winner must make a reservation directly with Ireland’s Blue Book. All bookings are subject to availability and change and are subject to Ireland’s Blue Book normal reservation policies and terms and conditions.
  10. Closing date for entry will be 17th June 2022 at 11.30pm GMT. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  11. Five winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries and will be chosen using the unique entry code on the packaging of the Qualifying Product.
  12. The winners will be announced on 20th June 2022.
  13. Winners will be contacted via the email address or phone number provided when entering the prize draw. In the event that a winner does not reply to the email or answer the call by the Promoter within 28 days to claim their prize, it will be deemed to have been forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected from valid entries at the Promoter’s discretion.
  14. No responsibility can be accepted by the Promoter for entries not received for whatever reason.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, natural disaster or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to eligible entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
  16. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  17. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
  18. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
  20. Each winner consents to the Promoter using his/her name and image in any publicity/media material at any time(s) without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition, the Promoter and/or any of the Promoter’s products. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Irish data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  21. Each winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: FAO: Marketing Dept, Clonakilty Food Co., Western Road, Clonakilty, West Cork, Ireland.
  22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
